	As the name of the region it indicates, the river Tiétar is the constituent essential one of the same one; to it there go a high number of rivers, throats and creeks that go down, for the straight bank, from the steep tops of the saw of Gredos and cross the whole strip of land that constitutes the region of north on south. In general, the valley is formed by a wide plain in the proximities of the river by whose course there were evacuated the waters that were covering, in the age later to the glaciations, a part of those who were covering the peninsula towards the Atlantic Ocean.
