To promote also the knowledge of our history and our cultural characteristics, the keys to understand better our reality, as well as our rich and beautiful natural environment. GUIATIÉTAR, already in her fourth edition, is a set of technological tools destined for the tourist promotion of the Valley of the Tiétar - South of Gredos: on the one hand the printed Guide of high graphical quality, of which already 20.000 copies have been edited. Her distribution is realized in establishments of the region and bookshops, offers free in fairs, as FITUR and INTUR between others, with
the collaboration of Town halls as that of Arenas de San Pedro. This year there have been included two new sections, " suggestions of our chef " in the chapter of Gastronomy and a Directory{Board of directors} - Telephone directory of companies and services that supposes besides a rapid support of location and consultation (4.000 copies{specimens} of pocket have been edited for to put in mailboxs and distributing for the region of free form). On the other hand this one Web: www.guiatietar.com, in four languages, with more than one million visitors in his six years of life and that is in the first places of the seekers, without economic consideration, for the constant work of promotion Web and indexation, control of content and the veracious information that offers. In this edition we have incorporated a free service of telephonic information across the number 902 37 22 35 where it will report on the content of the included Directory this year and other tourist information included in GUIATIÉTAR.
